Troubleshooting

Start with the small checks that explain most setup and sync issues.

Noam will not open

Confirm that your Mac uses Apple Silicon and that you downloaded the signed .dmg from the GitHub release.

External edits do not appear

Make sure the file lives inside the open vault, uses the .md extension, and is not inside a hidden folder.

Sync is disconnected

Check the server URL, confirm its health endpoint is reachable, and sign in again. If only one note fails, verify that you still have access to that note.

Report a problem

Open a GitHub issue with the Noam version, macOS version, and the smallest sequence that reproduces the problem. Do not attach private notes or credentials.
